Jo Jemmison is an award winning garden designer operating in the South East.
When Jo came to us she had a website through Houzz but had been notified it was going to be discontinued.
Whilst Jo was (and still is) very much in demand, she was keen to have a website to show the kind of work she does. To ensure she attracts the kind of clients she wants to work with. And to ensure they understand the kind of gardens she works on and the process of working with her.
But building a new website is quite a daunting prospect!
Jo approached me because she liked other websites I had created, the uncomplicated, straightforward process and because I was also a local small business. I “get” other local small businesses.
We set to work. What was clear early on was that Jo had a really good eye (obviously given her line of work!) and a style that was unfussy, contemporary and relaxed. It was important that the style of the website reflected that.
Jo has some gorgeous images of gardens she has designed. They needed to be the star of the website as they give such a strong impression of the kind of work Jo does. We added a portfolio page showcasing some of the gardens Jo has worked on with more details and images for individual projects.
