Eye Do Makeup

Jane is a bridal and prom make up artist operating in Dorset, Devon and Somerset.

When Jane approached us to build a new website for her business she had an existing website, but it was very dated.  It wasn’t helping her business as much as a website should. Jane recognised she needed more than just a web “presence”.  After a few false starts with other people who build websites, one of my existing clients recommended me – telling Jane to get in touch with me!!

When we start a new website build we take the time to understand our client’s business and, most importantly, who their target audience is.  This is a key factor in the website design because the website needs to work to get them more customers from that target audience. 

Jane is a very experienced makeup artist who focuses on a more natural look. Her philosophy is that you should look like the best version of you on your wedding day.  Whilst she works with a range of ages, more mature brides (often on a second marriage) are a particular demographic where she stands out. 

The website design therefore needed to reflect this.  The images in the most important places show slightly older brides with natural looking makeup. 

The testimonials have been moved from their own page to key places throughout the website – which is much more effective at converting visitors to clients.

Each page has a gallery of images showing work that Jane has done with many different brides and for proms too.

Clear navigation and calls to action guide visitors to the right place.  Subtle animation of images give a professional edge.
