Amanda Hughes works with couples and individuals to help them heal, strengthen and better understand their relationships. With over a decade of experience in relationship therapy, and a background that includes senior roles at Tavistock Relationships, she brings depth, authority and specialist expertise to every client she supports.
When she moved into private practice, she needed a website that reflected her authority and professionalism while also conveying the warmth, safety and non-judgemental approach that sits at the heart of her work.
In a crowded therapy market (where many practitioners offer couples work without formal specialist training) Amanda needed a website that would:
Establish her authority clearly and confidently
Feel warm, non-judgemental and safe
Inspire trust before a potential client even reached out
Make it easy for potential clients to contact her
This wasn’t about just “having a website.” It was about positioning.
We used Amanda’s logo as the starting point to create a cohesive, professional feel, drawing on the teal tones for warmth and using the orange as a highlight colour (particularly for Calls to Action) so the next steps are clear and easy to spot.
We structured the site so potential clients are gently guided through what they need to know before being invited to take the next step. When someone is considering relationship therapy, clarity and reassurance matter. The website is designed to provide both, making it feel safe and straightforward to reach out for a consultation.
Amanda now has a digital presence that matches the calibre of her work. It’s professional and expert, yet warm, human and approachable.
