What Does it Cost?

We don’t believe in subjecting you to the full sales pitch in order to understand what we would charge you for a website.  Your time (and ours) is valuable…

All our websites are built using WordPress, they are fully “responsive” (which means they will look good on mobile as well as desktop), give you full ownership of the website once you have paid for it in full and are designed to be easy for you to update.

The price for a “standard” website is £900

This includes:

  • an initial zoom call to understand your business
  • up to 5 website pages (eg home, about, contact and two services pages)
  • a blog page and a blog post template (if you don’t want a blog we can add an extra website page instead)
  • up to 3 legal pages (please note we will provide the text for the cookies page but you must provide the text for the others)
  • “standard” functionality*
  • a zoom call midway through the design/build process so we can chat through where we are with the website (don’t worry you will have other opportunities to provide feedback/revisions)
  • full training on how to edit text and images on your website and add blog posts (via a recorded zoom call and written instructions too)

Additional pages can be added for £60/page

This assumes you provide all the content (text, images, videos, etc), but we will guide you as to what is needed/useful

The price excludes the cost of a domain name (that’s the website address – these are usually no more than £10 for the year) and it excludes website hosting.  Hosting is space on a computer server where your website code sits.  We use and recommend Siteground for hosting.  You can buy your own hosting or we offer a maintenance plan which includes hosting, regular backups of your website and technical updates.

* standard functionality includes text, images, video and links (including social media links, links to booking systems like Calendly or Acuity Scheduling, etc) – and is enough for most of the websites we build.  Payment /shop functionality, email signup/integration with your email marketing, memberships, courses, a map and contact form have a small additional charge.

If you have an existing wordpress website we can copy across your existing website, work on the copy and transfer it back so your existing website remains live during the build phase.

The whole build process usually takes 6 – 8 weeks

We also offer a “VIP” service for £2,500

This includes everything in the standard package plus:

  • branding photography within 5 miles of Sevenoaks
  • stock photography for use as “filler” images
  • copywriting for 5 pages
  • 12 months of website maintenance
  • website build in 2 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to provide?

We will send you a questionnaire to complete, but we need details of your visual branding (colours, font, logo), images you want to use, copy and other websites you like/don’t like as inspiration

I don’t have branding/want to change my branding, can you do this for me?

Yes.  We have a branding package available for an additional fee

I’m not sure what to write.  Are you able to write the copy for me?

The best person to write the content for a website is YOU!  You know your business better than anyone else and the impression you want to convey.  But we have experienced copywriters who can edit and polish the content for you, if needed, for an additional fee (or they can write it for you if you really don’t want to do it at all).

What is the process and how much time will it take?

We aim to provide a couple of versions of two pages of your website within 10 working days of you providing all the associated content.  Once we have agreed those two pages we will build out the other pages.  How long it takes overall depends upon how many edits you want and how long it takes to get copy/changes to us.  It can be completed in 3 – 5 weeks but typically it takes 6 – 8 weeks.

Will you get my website onto page 1 of Google?

Getting onto page 1 of Google is about more than just the design of your website.  The competitiveness of any keywords, content and backlinks also play a big part.  

Can you provide website hosting?

Yes, we offer a “maintenance package” for websites that we build which costs £20/month.  This includes hosting, weekly backups and technical updates.
